Hello. I’m a visual artist, performer and teacher based in Penarth on the edge of Cardiff in Wales.
I use my skills with visual language, music and words to help others. The work helps people to connect, communicate, reflect, play, and tell stories, in person, on screen or on the page. I help to create artistic and conversational spaces, and often mentor creative practitioners. Recent project themes range from patient-informed hospital design and eco-literacy to overcoming creative blocks through visual narrative. With poet Luca Paci I created the touring Self Help Show and accompanying book Self Help I(s)land (2022, Hadron Press).
My practice taps into working in creative education for over 30 years and a lifetime of drawing and making music.
